By accessing or using NetBoats ("the Site", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors, sellers, buyers and dealers who access or use our service.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

• Post false, misleading or fraudulent boat listings
• Engage in any activity that harms other users or third parties
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data without our permission
• Impersonate any person or entity

3. Listings & Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings. By posting a listing you confirm that:

• You are the lawful owner of the boat or authorised to sell it
• All information provided is accurate and not misleading
• The boat is not subject to outstanding finance (unless disclosed)
• You will comply with all applicable UK consumer and trading laws

4. Buyer Responsibilities

NetBoats is a marketplace platform only. We do not own, inspect or warrant any boats listed. Buyers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence, including boat history checks, pre-purchase inspections and verifying seller credentials. All transactions are directly between buyer and seller.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including the NetBoats name, logo, design and text — is owned by or licensed to NetBoats. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent. By uploading content (photos, descriptions), you grant NetBoats a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NetBoats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or any transaction facilitated through it. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the fees paid by you to NetBoats in the preceding 12 months.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches these Terms, posts fraudulent content, or acts in a manner we deem harmful to the Site or its users, without notice.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
